Accessibility Statement

Last updated: June 2026

1. Our commitment

Xorda is committed to ensuring our website and ordering platform are accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We want everyone who calls a restaurant using Xorda to be able to browse the menu, build an order and pay independently and with confidence.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and to comply with our obligations under the UK Equality Act 2010.

2. What we've done

  • Text and background colours are chosen to meet AA contrast ratios
  • Form fields have descriptive labels for screen readers
  • The site works with keyboard-only navigation and visible focus states
  • Layouts reflow cleanly on mobile, tablet and desktop, and support browser zoom
  • Interactive controls use clear, descriptive text rather than icons alone
  • The customer ordering flow is plain, step-by-step and works on any modern phone

3. Ongoing work

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We continue to test and improve the platform, and we review new features against our accessibility standards before release. Some content provided by third parties (for example, the Stripe payment field) is maintained by those providers, who run their own accessibility programmes.

4. Tell us about a problem

If you come across any part of Xorda that is difficult to use, or you need information in a different format, please let us know and we will do our best to help and to fix the issue.

Email: hello@xorda.co.uk

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 working days.
